Interview with The Straits Time – Our Director, Ms. Kitty Tan, shared her views on the extension of Jobs Support Scheme The impact of Covid-19 has broadened out to envelope much of the economy. Most sectors are feeling the pinch which prompted the Government to extend the Jobs Support Scheme to cushion the impacts. To find out if the extension of JSS is sufficient in providing some form of alleviation for firms, The Straits Time interviewed companies from various sectors. Our Director, Ms Kitty Tan, representing EPS Consultants, was recently interviewed by The Straits Time, sharing her views on how the extension of the scheme has provided support to our business cashflow. The article was published on 18 June 2020. The Straits Time is the English flagship daily of SPH and the most-read newspaper in Singapore. In the article, Ms Kitty shared that the extension of JSS provided support to EPS Consultants in defraying the cost of retaining local staff. Although EPS faces cost pressure due to falling revenue, we will continue to seek alternative methods to further reduce our business costs and devise ways to transform our business model. Our director, Ms Kitty Tan, was recently interviewed by South China Morning Post (SCMP) and shared her thoughts on job losses due to COVID-19. The article was published on June 7th. SCMP is a leading English-language newspaper, based in Hong Kong. In the article, Ms Kitty commented that working longer hours and staying for many years in an organisation is no longer the key to remaining employed in the new economy. Instead, one must embrace flexibility in their career mindset to adapt to the rapidly changing environment.
